This is a quilt I tried to machine quilt a few years ago. I made a real mess of it. So this year I took all the quilting out and I'm redoing it.. This week I worked on dragonflies, some look more like gargoyles, and butterflies... Mostly I'm pleased with how they turned out. It certainly is an improvement over what I had there before.

This is the cat of "Pat and the Cat".. Her name is Callie and she is a great companion.
Right now she has fleas and I am trying to get rid of them with natural products.. She does not like garlic. The rosemary solution didn't work.. I'm going to get some Mozi-Q which is the delphimium flower and try that.
Advantage doesn't seem to work on her... I have heard of another product called, "Program", that I will try next. Lots of fun

HI
New month here..
wow the summer is going fast.
This month my mother will reach her 98th birthday and she is still going strong.
I have some pictures for you. These are all of the same quilt.
Last year the Fabric Cupboard had a challenge to make 15 flying geese blocks each month. Then they gave us a pattern to put them together. I changed it a little bit and then quilted it to death. The blocks are all Free motion quilting and I did them as a quilt as you go. I made a heart with Bill's and my names at the top and a vase at the bottom.. The vase is suppose to resemble two faces kissing. I like the top of this quilt, but need to rethink the back and how I can make it look better on the next quilt.
